Killin' Time Charter runs private fishing charters for Lighthouse Point anglers from the Hillsboro Inlet Fishing Center, about five minutes from town. Our 53' Hatteras takes up to six people on 4-hour, 6-hour and 8-hour trips starting at $800, with captain, mate, tackle, rods, reels, bait, ice and bottled water all included. Because we dock two minutes from the inlet, a half day out of Lighthouse Point is genuinely a half day of fishing rather than a half day of running offshore. Captain Tom Oberrender has held a U.S. Coast Guard 100-Ton Masters License since 1993 and has fished these waters for more than twenty-five years.
The price is for the boat, not per person — up to six anglers for the same rate.
A licensed captain and a mate for the whole trip
All tackle, rods and reels
Bait, ice and coolers
Bottled water
Free parking at the dock
Your catch cleaned and bagged before you leave, when it is legal size and good eating
Your Florida fishing licence — our vessel license covers everyone on board, so you do not need to buy one
What is not included: food and drinks (bring your own, we have coolers), and gratuity for the crew, which most charters set at 15–20% of the trip price.

Half Day — 4 hours — from $800. Runs 8:30am–12:30pm or 1:30pm–5:30pm. Best for first-timers, families and anyone who wants to be back for lunch. We fish the reef and the edge for mahi, kingfish, snapper and bonito.
Three-Quarter Day — 6 hours — from $1,150. Runs 7:00am–1:00pm or 12:00–6:00pm. The extra two hours let us push out to deeper water and stay on a bite when we find one. This is the trip most repeat customers book.
Full Day — 8 hours — from $1,495. Runs 7:00am–3:00pm. Enough time to run for sailfish and wahoo, work multiple depths, and try more than one plan if the first one is slow.
All three are private trips for up to six anglers. See full rates and what's included.

We're at the Hillsboro Inlet Fishing Center, 2705 N Riverside Dr., Slip #10, Pompano Beach, FL 33062 — about a five-minute drive from Lighthouse Point, just south of the Hillsboro Inlet Lighthouse. Parking at the dock is free.
Plan to arrive 15–30 minutes before your trip so we can get you aboard and out on time. Allow a little longer in season and on holiday weekends, when traffic on the bridge backs up.
From the dock it's about two minutes to the inlet and straight out to blue water, which is the reason a four-hour trip from here is worth more than a four-hour trip from a marina further inland.

No. Our vessel carries a Florida saltwater charter license that covers every angler on board, so you do not need to buy your own.
Ours start at $800 for a 4-hour half day, $1,150 for a 6-hour three-quarter day and $1,495 for an 8-hour full day. That is the price for the whole boat and up to six anglers, not a per-person rate, and it includes captain, mate, tackle, rods, reels, bait and ice.
Depending on the season, sailfish, mahi-mahi, wahoo, kingfish, tuna, snapper and grouper. Nobody can promise fish, but we'll work hard to put you on them.
Sunblock, sunglasses, a hat, soft-soled shoes, and any food or drinks you want. We provide bottled water and coolers with ice.
To reserve your spot, call or text (954) 946-2628 or submit our online form. A small deposit secures your date, and we’ll confirm all details by phone or email. We recommend booking early during peak season (November – May) to guarantee your preferred time slot.
